  1. Hi Stephanie,
I found your youtube-channel and was amazed. In one of your videos you start with “Hallo meine Lieben”. For one moment I thought I clicked a wrong link. But then a saw you’re a German. Well, greetings from Berlin.
I want to tell you what I like most about your youtube-channel. I love your tutorials, but I love it more when you’re talking about “true” things like you did in the video from 05/08/15.
I absolutly think that you’re right. It is the same about clothes. You’re the same person weither in pretty clothes or in ugly ones. The only thing that is important is how you see yourself and love yourself.
When I saw you without Make Up I thought you are the girl next door with a great charisma. Just like we coud be friends. With Make Up on you’re absolutly gorgeous and a bit einschüchernd. But you’re right. All of us has many facets(?).
I have also acne – so called Spätakne. And I’m still fighting it.
I really want to thank you for talking about these problems.

I wish all good things for you and your family (your sister is lovely).
    Greetings from Berlin again.

  2. Hi Stephanie,
I love watching your Youtube-Videos again and again and again. 🙂
You’re so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about Make up.
I have one problem and maybe you can help. If I put my make up on with a brush or with my hands, it looks like it brings out my facial hair more than I want. (Sorry my English is bad, I hope you know what I mean.) After having make-up and powder on, the focus is on my facial hair. (I don’t have many but it disturbs me.) Do you have any advice?
Vielen lieben Dank, Grüße aus Österreich
    LisaMarie 🙂

  3. Hi Stephanie,

I just discovered you last night, and being a very hooded eye girl, I stayed up binge watching your videos. I can’t wait to try some of the looks!

I am in my 40s, so I am more interested in the subtle looks you do. You mentioned that hooded eye girls can sometimes wear shimmer, but the only video I found with shimmer was for a glam look. As I don’t want all of those expensive Naked palettes to go to waste, I was wondering if you could put together a tutorial using shimmer in a day look.

By the way, I watched quite a few artists doing hooded eyes yesterday, and by far I like your dome technique the best!! Well done, and THANK YOU!!!!

  4. Hi Stephanie,
I recently watched your acne coverage foundation tutorial and I’m now really wanting to try the Chanel PERFECTION LUMIÈRE VELVET! But I was wondering what is your opinion on the Hourglass Veil Fluid foundation compared to the Chanel perfection lumiere velvet? Because they’re both quite expensive foundations, so I just don’t want to end up buying the wrong one for my skin. (my skin right now is acne-prone, with quite a few white heads/redness/scabs and i’m three weeks into my accutane course). Thank you!

  5. Hy! I became a huge fan of your videos. I started looking up for a good foundation that covers dark hormonal spots. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that I have a disease that caused the dark spots on my face. I’m not a fan of makeup, but now I need it to feel better about myself. I’ll be 35 year old in July, and I live in Romania. (a country known for it’s vampire stories). It is a country in development and it’s hard (expensive) to buy a channel product when the average salary here is 300 euro / month, but I will do my best. I live in a small city and I have to go in another big city for a channel sample from sephora. I don’t want to go to all that trouble and money if you think that Chanel perfection lumiere doesn’t cover the spots. Please help me. My skin is an ivory tone or very light beige and the spots are a medium beige.

  9. Hi Stephanie! So I’m fairly new to makeup and started watching your vids – AWESOME! However, contouring for me has been rather difficult as I am rather “fat” and my neck blends into my face so I don’t have a distinct jawline. Any tips? From what I’ve done, it just looks like I applied a darker shade of foundation along the rim of my jaw and looks horrid! I’ve tried blending but It’s not much help. Maybe I just need to find the right color/shade. HELP!!!!

  12. Hi Stephanie,
My sister and I have recently discovered your YouTube Channel, and boy, have you educated us!
My sister and I are both “teenagers”, and are absolutely clueless about all of the pertinent tools required for looking as professional and “Supermodel-like” as you, and we would really appreciate your help in all of the cosmetics, brushes, etc. that you find most helpful and useful.
She seems to have a pink undertone, and me a yellow one, so any specific colours suggested that could compliment our skin tones would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you sooo much,
    Montana.

I recently discovered your channel, and can’t stop watching your tutorials. Last night, I ordered many brushes from Sigma. I only use organic makeup that isn’t tested on animals, so I have to find alternatives to several of the ofirst the products you recommend. I look to trying out your tips for a special occasion later this month. 🙂

  20. Hi Stephanie!

I stumbled across your YouTube channel this evening when researching make-up tutorials. I have really enjoyed watching your videos and you really are an artist and inspiring person! I am from the UK and have been learning a lot about skincare and make-up this year. It was interesting hearing about issues you have had with acne and the skin type you say you are because I am quite similar! I just wonder if you have ever tried Arbonne products as I know they are available down under! I really recommend the skincare and make-up for troublesome skin as the results I have had have really impressed me. Unfortunately make-up like Mac can be even more drying and irritating to sensitive skin so I wonder if you have ever trialled anything else? Would love to hear your opinion on it!

    Warm wishes,

    Emily ❤

  24. Hi Stephanie! Love your videos, they have been very helpful! I am new to make up (i.e., I’m a guy, crossdresser), and have no idea what I’m doing. With your videos, expertese, and some other videos specifically targeting male facial feminization via make up, I understand the process, but still can’t seem to get things exactly how I want them. I’m confused as to what my undertone is (I have pink/ruddy cheeks, blue-green veins,) and an “light olive” complexion? Things you say tell me I have cool undertones. Other things I’ve read say I have warm undertones, which makes me think I’m neutral? Plus the very ruddy face, along with the light to olive complexion is confusing. What colors should I go for? A makeover from you would be awesome! Lol.

    Anyway, thanks for the videos.

Hi Stephanie, I’ve just discovered you and I’m loving the tutorials on hooded eye makeup, I’m definitely going to give your ideas a try especially the matte eyeshadows as opposed to the shimmery ones. I just wanted to ask how I would make my eyes appear larger as they are hooded but also small, Help please.

  26. Hi Stephanie
Help! I have watched all your tutorials, which I love, and try to implement your instructions but no matter what I do I CANNOT get my foundation to stay put. I have rosacea on nose, cheeks, chin and even a stripe of red down the front of my throat. My cheeks are dry but I moisturise, blot off excess, apply foundation (with finger, brush and sponge), I wait for it to dry and set it. I maintain it during the day but it just disappears and leaves my redness showing throu with scaly remnants of foundation. Today was hot for us Brits and my makeup dist disappeared totally leaving me looking like a beetroot!
What on earth am I doing wrong????? I have been trying to combat this since my 30`s and I am now 52 and plain fed up 😦

  27. Hi Stephanie,
Really enjoy your make-up tutorials. I’m learning a lot. Never owned an eyeshadow brush before your videos. I have so many issues from really red undertone over entire face to acne to really fat face. I am overweight but always carry the most weight in my face, even when I am at my normal weight. I am 46 single, never married no kids. I am trying to turn my life around. Working out with a trainer to lose weight, seeing a Facialist to try to get the acne under control as I can not tolerate antibiotics or topicals anymore. Would like to improve my make-up skills–proper colors and application. Would love to get to a place where a single guy would even look my way. Haven’t been asked out in decades (literally). Wondering if you are ever in the Los Angeles area with your work and if I could pay for your assistance with bettering my make-up. Or can one schedule to come out to you ( would not be able to do that for a year or so. I imagine you may be too busy to take on too many additional clients, but I obviously need the help so I thought I would ask. I’m not on social media so this was the only way I knew to reach out to you. Linda

  31. Hey Stephanie,

I hope you still read the entrys on your wall as your last blogpost is bit ago.
I really like your videos. The most tutotials you do are very good tips for my type of skin, especially how you deal with applying fondation. But I also enjoy listening to you just talking into the camera about any unspecified topic….:-D
I also love the fact that you’re half German, well probably because you have a huge fan base in German (e.g. me :-D)
You’re so beautiful and I love your style, you know how to dress chic but also wear your rock clothing, that’s pretty cool.
